Visitation is 5 to 9 tonight at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticel-lo and 8 a.m. Wednesday until services there at 11 a.m. The Rev. Tommy Golmon will officiate. Burial will be in Tilton United Methodist Church Cemetery in Monticello.

Ms. Brister was born Dec. 13, 1915, in Lawrence County to Houston and Mattie Thompson Townsend. She was a member of Monticello Church of Christ, where she was a faithful member until her health failed. Ms.

Brister was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, James A. Carr; her second husband, Sam Reid; three sons. Turner, James H. and J.D. Carr; four brothers, one sister, two granddaughters and two great-granddaughters.

Survivors include one daughter, Elaine Boyd of McComb; two sons, Leon Carr of Monticello and Jack Reid of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Juanita Griffith and Oudia Miller, both of Monticello, and Pru-dia Miller of Brandon; 22 grandchildren, Rhonda Alexander, Sandy Golmon, Mitchell Boyd, Melissa Raborn, Nicole Cutrer. Kar-la Reeves, Tony Carr, Stevie Carr, Regina Strong, Wayne Carr, Mandy Carr, Brian Rodriguez. Joshua Reid. Deanna Madeaux. Greg Carr, Kim Jackson, Shelly White, Danny.

Raymond Johnston Raymond Johnston died March 1, 2005, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.
